Each screw features a Type 17 slash point for fast, self-drilling performance, meaning less pre-drilling and more time on the job. The 30mm length is ideal for common roofing sheet thicknesses.
Built to last, these screws are made from hardened steel and finished with a Galvanised Class 4 coating, offering excellent corrosion resistance against the elements – crucial for Australian roofs. The hex flange head provides a large bearing surface for a tight, waterproof seal when used with appropriate washers (washers not included). Driving them is a breeze with a standard 3/8" hex socket (nutsetter). Each pack contains 1000 screws, ensuring you're covered for even large projects.
Remember to use the correct size nutsetter and avoid over-tightening the screws. Over-tightening can strip the thread or damage the roofing sheet, compromising the seal. A properly set torque will deliver the best result.
