Constructed from Grade 304 Stainless Steel, these screws are built to withstand the harsh Aussie climate, offering excellent corrosion resistance and longevity. The T17 Slash Point ensures quick and easy self-drilling, minimising the need for pre-drilling and saving you time on the job. They're a great option for fixing roof sheeting without corroding or losing their strength.
The Hex Flange Head design provides a broad bearing surface for secure clamping and prevents pull-through. The external 3/8" Hex Drive allows for easy installation with a standard nutsetter. With approximately 10 Threads Per Inch these screws will grab the roofing, and supporting frame, for a lasting hold. Each screw is manufactured to a gauge of approx. 6.3mm and is 75mm in length.
Pro Tip: When installing these screws, use a variable speed drill/driver and start slowly. This allows the T17 point to properly bite into the material before driving the screw at full speed, preventing slippage and ensuring a clean, accurate hole. Don't overtighten – just enough to compress the washer and create a watertight seal.
